Head painting #30 – November 3, 2019 – SUNSET

Today there was a completely different plan in place and then the phone call came telling me that a high fever had hit their house! I’m still very cautious, so a new plan needed to be made. Susan to the rescue! She was limited on time, so for her, this was a quick and easy. Just over an hour! The sunset thru the forest, changed into a sunset on the water and with the help of a butterfly and a mermaid stencil, I ended up with a stunning sunset! <3

Head Painting #31 – November 10, 2019 – Lest We Forget

This one has special meaning! Remembrance day and Veterans day! Many Thanks once again to Susan!

Head painting #32 – November 15, 2019 – Bob Ross Tutorial

This was an awesome new head painting!!! Cynthia (14yrs old) did a fantastic job!!! She came with a plan of following a Bob Ross tutorial on my head and it turned out stellar!!!! This is a great option for someone looking for an idea! She did a fantastic job transferring a flat painting to a domed painting!

head painting #33 – November 21, 2019 – Artistic Butterflies

After my mastectomy, my head needed some desperate colouring! Susan came and did her thing!

head painting #34 – November 25, 2019 – A mother’s love

My mom is in town visiting and helping out. With me not being at full steam, she is a great help! She got a chance to paint my head! She has arthritis, so finding a way that she could paint was a priority. We will share the “how to” later, but for now, thrilled with how it turned out! <3

Head painting #35 – November 30, 2019 – Christmas Kids

This was a fun and special day! My dear friends, Nadia and Amram, the owners at Hokey Pokey, let me borrow their two daughters (Abby who just turned 7 and Nicole who is 4) to play and paint on my head! Neither of them have done any face painting and so it was a great chance to share how much fun it can be to have a couple of kids paint your head! I’m not sure who was more excited, them or me!!! This was Head Painting #35!!!

Head Painting #36 – December 4, 2019 – Christmas Wreath

Susan painted a beautiful rendition of a Christmas wreath which included a tree, gingerbread man, poinsettia and a beautiful pine cone!

Head painting #37 – December 9, 2019 – Holiday Party with EMP

This was a wonderful group effort! 14 people helped on this creation and most had done little or no head painting ever! In fact, most hadn’t painted anything in years! I brought lot’s of stencils with me to cover all the different holiday images and everyone got to pick favourites to paint! Even I got to help! I painted the frosty base myself and put the very first snowflake on my right temple! Yes!!! This is another one of those that show anyone can have fun doing this and it’s easy to do!

Head Painting #38 – December 12, 2019 – Christmas doodle

Susan has now done a majority of the paintings over time. This was, for her, a quick and simple one. She gave a creative and colourful base and then did some holly and used some stencils over the top! The Gingerbread people definitely are getting attention this year! Everyone seems to love seeing them on my head!

head Painting #39 – December 16, 2019 – Christmas trees

This time we took inspiration from the internet by checking out what others were doing for holiday themes in body painting. We loved the feel of the tree design and Susan added her own flair and then made a forest of them! Adding the sparkles actually brought the tree to life making it look as if the lights were twinkling as I turned my head!
